A Brief Description

Demaniyat Islands are a one-of-a-kind natural reserve in the Sultanate of Oman's Wilayat Al-Seeb, some 18 kilometres off the coast of Barka. It is made up of 9 islands scattered across 250 acres of sea and is rich in natural history, amazing coral reefs of various types, and unique and uncommon sea life such as turtles and whale sharks.

Quick facts
The island is home to a large number of sea turtles that lay their eggs and nest there, as well as a magnet for migratory and indigenous birds.
The Nature Reserve is located in Wilayat AlSeeb in the Muscat Governorate and lies about 18 kilometres (11 mi) off the coast of Barka (70 kilometres (43 mi) west of Muscat, the capital).
The Ad Dimaniyat Islands is a protected area in Oman.
The best place for snorkeling, diving and it has crystal water.
