A Brief Description
Rustaq is a town and a Wilayah in northern Oman's Al Batinah Region. The wilayah is located in the southern part of the Batinah, in the Western Hajar Mountains. During the time of Imam Nasir bin Murshid al Ya'arubi, Rustaq was the capital of Oman. One of the main occupations in Rustaq is beekeeping.

Rustaq is most recognised for its historic structures from the pre-Islamic era.
Rustaq has relieving hot water springs especially Ain Al Kasfa.
Al Rustaq is also known for its many wadis. Wadi Bani Ghafar, Wadi al-Sahtan, and Wadi Bani Auf are the three most well-known wadis to visit.
